Problem

After Hurricane Katrina flooded over 80% of New Orleans, almost everyone affected was in need of new floors. Smooth, new floors are also especially helpful for the elderly and disabled as it facilitates their movement within their own homes. RTNO uses sustainable bamboo hardwood flooring materials that will be installed by volunteers from around the country who dedicate their time to help rebuild the homes of this vulnerable population in New Orleans.

The Gift

A gift of $25 purchases 25sq ft of sustainable bamboo hardwood flooring for an elderly or disabled low-income homeowner in Orleans Parish.
