The story of how U.S. policies, politics and programs actually impact the lives and health of people in developing countries are difficult to tell in a way that paints a clear and vivid picture for policymakers and others. It is essential that these stories are told - especially when U.S. policies are impeding access to care rather than improving health – so that people understand how we can best help families thousands of miles away.
