House the Poor
Wood, nails, & paint
Problem
Tijuana, Mexico, is home to one of the largest slum areas in North America. Thousands of families are scattered across hillsides in makeshift shelters, unprotected from the elements as the scavenge for food and clean water. Other areas in Mexico also have many poor families who need homes and other community buildings.
The Gift
Your gift can buy wood, paint and nails for homes built by youth over Spring Break. Over the past 5 years, our youth from Covenant Presbyterian Church have worked with Project Casas to build simple, decent housing for the families of Tijuana.
