Computer for one week
We ask our 15 ArtsLink Fellows to document their residencies as much as possible, and to tell us: what experiences were most important? what work have they done? what new contacts? what plans for the future? Documentation is essential to our evaluation and planning. Few Fellows can bring a laptop computer with them, so they often hope we can provide one.
Ready access to a laptop computer for writing, for working with photographs, video and music, for access to the Internet and email all multiply the breadth and impact of a Fellow's month-long stay in the U.S. At the conclusion of their residencies, the 15 Fellows gather at CEC to share the record of their work, and to talk about the experience of working in a U.S. theater or arts organization. Most important, with a computer a Fellow can capture the experience, to share with others upon returning home.
