Overview

We are an all volunteer, grassroots organization that provides online facilitated chat rooms for child abuse and domestic violence survivors.

Mission

Working worldwide to break the cycle and silence of abuse.

History

We were found in 1997 with $10 and now have a growing board of directors, approximately 24 volunteer facilitators. We train approximately 20 facilitators every semester.

Program

We provide online facilitated chat rooms for child abuse and domestic violence survivors, as well as providing statistical information on our website for those interested in the issues.
We also provide a local prevention program every November 19th to commemorate World Day for Prevention of Child Abuse. Each year, we invite all children (K - 12th grades) to provide 2 dimensional art work in response to a theme we provide. This year's theme was "Secrets to Share, Secrets to Keep."
Lastly, we provide 60 hours of training for our facilitators each semester.

Impact

We have grown from 8 hits in our first month to averaging 30,000 hits each month.

Goals

We hope to increase our rooms to be accessible worldwide 24/7.
