Problem

Every day the sanctuary receives requests to rescue abused, abandoned or illegally kept exotic animals from inappropriate situations - like basements, apartments, crawl spaces, garages, barns, or other terrible places - where people try to keep a lion, tiger, bear, wolf or other large carnivore. Law enforcement agencies rely on the Wild Animal Sanctuary to be there and rescue these animals when they find and confiscate them, as there is no other place for these animals to go.
