Problem

Hundreds of thousands in Angola have no classrooms, no teachers, no materials, and are hungry for the chance to go to school. Some learn in makeshift classrooms under trees, but need a place to be protected from the elements. RISE builds schools in remote areas where schools were destroyed during the 27 year civil war, or where there has never been a school, with a design consisting of an 8 classroom school. Each classroom accommodates approximately 100 children.
