Problem

Iraqis are now the third largest displaced population in the world. Over 4 million Iraqis have been displaced by violence in their country. Some 2.4 million Iraqis have fled their homes, settling mostly in Syria and Jordan; Lebanon, Egypt, Iran and Turkey have also absorbed significant numbers. Another 2 million Iraqis are displaced within the borders of Iraq. Most displaced Iraqis are living without access to jobs, housing, education, medical services, sanitation and water.
