The vital voices of the world’s future doctors are often the hardest to get to the major conferences because they have a difficult time in securing funding to attend international, high-level conferences, such as the biennial IPPNW international World Congress which happens in a different country each time. This challenge is even greater for medical student activists from the Global South.
