Problem

Before the earthquake, only 49% of Haitian children attended elementary school. Since 80% of Haitians live on less than $2/day & 50% of Haitians live on less than $1/day, education is simply not a priority. Help In a Perfect World take the lead in building schools for Haitians who do not have safe and adequate places to learn.

The Gift

The cost of one school in Haiti is $30,000. We are getting closer to that goal every day! Your gift will ensure that one more child has access to education in a nurturing and stable environment. The children attending our school are also provided with proper nutrition, school books & other necessities. In the evenings, our school is used as a community education center, allowing adults in the same community to benefit from the school as well.
