People need to increase their incomes and become financially literate to emerge from poverty. Fundefir's communal banks are achieving this, but the poor still need help starting businesses, which help improve their lives by earning additional income, and also make the community more vibrant and robust economically.

The Gift

Your gift will help Fundefir teach a woman to open a beauty salon. Many women have the necessary skills to work in a beauty salon (such as knowing how to cut, style, and dry hair, as well as give manicures and pedicures), but lack the business know-how to open their own. With your gift, Fundefir will teach a woman to open her own salon, allowing her to earn more money to give her and her family greater opportunities.
