Problem

Almost all of the children in our children's center are undernourished, and many children are battling malaria, typhoid, tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS. While Flying Kites Kinangop receives free antiretroviral medication to treat HIV/AIDS, we still incur costs associated with the treatment (specialized care, staff training, transport to the local city hospital) and currently spend an estimated $4,500 per year on other medical expenses.

The Gift

This gift will provide one month's medical care for a child at Flying Kites Kinangop Children's Center in Kenya.
