Problem

Increasing human population and spreading development along the Emerald Coast have created an increasing demand for wildlife rehabilitation and education. 70% of all wildlife admitted for treatment is due to direct human impact. Collisions with automobiles and glass windows, attacks by domestic pets, entanglement injuries from fishing line, reactions from chemical agents, abuse by malicious humans, and habitat destruction are only a few of the most common injuries presented by our our patients.
