Sustain Veterans
Emergency financial aid
Problem
Many Veterans face extreme short-term financial burdens immediately after they leave the military. Many spouses of injured veterans are forced to quit their jobs and become primary caregivers for their injured spouse. In addition, there can be a delay in benefits from the VA. This puts additional pressure on the family.
The Gift
The Coalition has provided close to $1.5 million in emergency financial funding to injured war on terror veterans and their families. This financial aid has helped to pay rent, car loans, utility bills and other short-term needs. Your gift will help to prevent homelessness, joblessness due to lack of transportation, and eliminate utility shut-off crisis.
