The purpose of the CIDA Foundation is to provide support for non-profit educational organizations and programs throughout the world that have, as a principal goal, the development of greatness and leadership within individuals and communities, through consciousness-based, holistic education of young people.

Supporting universal access to innovative quality education worldwide that contributes to the full development of those individuals wishing to create the highest social and economic good for their communities and their nations.

Founded in 1999, CIDA is a thriving South African success story in the heart of Johannesburg — not only the pride of the city, but of the nation too — South Africa’s only ‘free’ open-access university. It offers a high quality, low cost, holistic, technology-enriched, mass-scale higher education model. This innovative model is designed to develop graduates who will serve to rejuvenate the economy of South Africa and any emerging nation through leveraging off the finest knowledge, content, and skills that exists worldwide.

This program is focused on furnishing the Thurmond Woodard Men's Dormitory at CIDA Park.

There will be 204 men residing in the dormitory and the impact on their families and future generations will be revolutionary.
