Problem

Many dogs and cats who come to our shelter are diamonds in the rough. They may have had tough times of abuse and neglect in their prior lives, so it can take some “cleaning up" for them to really shine. That entails medical care, good nutrition, and clean, safe housing. Our behaviorists evaluate each animal, determine what kind of home they’d do best in, and teach them how to be well-behaved members of the family.

The Gift

Here at the ASPCA, we are committed to finding a permanent, loving home for every adoptable dog or cat who comes through our doors. As such, we do everything we can to make sure that potential adopters can see how wonderful and worthy each animal is. Your gift will sponsor the rescue of a dog or cat, and provide routine medical care, nutritional care, behavior evaluation and shelter housing for that animal—until the day he or she is adopted. Thanks for allowing our diamonds in the rough to really sparkle—they so deserve it!
